Know exactly who you are dealing with in China — before the money moves.
Independent supplier verification, factory audits, sourcing, trade-compliance evidence and cross-border documents. Fixed fees, published prices, and we are never paid by the other side. Almost every engagement ends in a document you can show to someone else.
Credited in full against any service you go on to book.
What a verification report actually contains
- Registered entity, code, status and date established
- Registered business scope — and whether it permits manufacturing
- Manufacturer or trading company, with the reasoning
- Legal representative, shareholders and related entities
- Abnormal-operation listings and published enforcement records
- Whether the bank account they gave you matches the licensed entity — send us the details and we check it
- Findings graded: verified, consistent, or unverifiable
- Sources named, with the date we retrieved them
Which of these is your week?
Four groups come to us wanting quite different things. Pick the one that sounds familiar and we will talk about your problems instead of our services.
Marketplace & DTC sellers
The low-value parcel channel closed and you are now importing in bulk for the first time.
This is meImporters & product brands
You buy from China at real volume, with no office there and no one neutral checking.
This is meProcurement & compliance teams
A customer, an auditor or a regulator wants documented evidence about your Chinese suppliers.
This is meBrands entering China
You are selling into China, or about to, and need to decide the structure before you commit.
This is meTwo hours from the factory, and paid by one side only
Most cross-border help is either a broker taking a cut from the seller, or a firm in a Shanghai tower selling the one thing it happens to sell. We are neither, and the two reasons are geography and how we are paid.
We are inside the belt, not above it
Registered in Wenzhou, in one of China’s densest private manufacturing regions. Within roughly two hours: low-voltage electrical at Yueqing, auto and motorcycle parts at Ruian, pumps and valves at Yongjia, footwear in Lucheng, eyewear and locks in Ouhai. Yiwu and the port at Ningbo are about two and a half. Walking a factory is a drive, not a project.
One point of contact, both languages
You brief once, in your language. We handle the Mandarin side — registries, factories, counters, counterparties — and report back in writing, in yours.
We only do what we are licensed to do
We advise, verify, prepare, coordinate and translate. Where the law reserves work for a licensed firm — legal, accounting, trademark filing, recruitment — we say so and introduce one.
Fixed fees, and we are paid by you alone
Every engagement is scoped and priced before it starts. We take no commission from any supplier, distributor or provider we introduce, and we disclose any referral fee in writing.

All fees are quoted in US dollars. If you prefer to settle in RMB, we convert at the RMB central parity rate published by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System under the authority of the People’s Bank of China on the invoice date.
We publish the answers, including the ones that cost us work
19 questions, answered directly, with the official source named and the date we last checked. If a page solves your problem you do not need to hire us — and we would rather you found that out here than after an invoice.
Browse all answersThe questions people ask before they trust us
Reasonable questions to ask a Chinese company you found in a search result. We would ask them too.
How do I know you are a real company?
Search our Unified Social Credit Code, 91330302MAKLC8FT2R, on China’s National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System at gsxt.gov.cn. You will find Wenzhou Yimi Information Consulting Co., Ltd., registered in Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang. It is exactly the check we tell clients to run on any Chinese supplier, and we publish step-by-step instructions for running it on us.
Do you take commission from suppliers?
No. We are paid by the client and by nobody else. We take no commission, rebate, margin or finder’s fee from any supplier, distributor, agency or provider we introduce, we do not take title to goods, and if a referral fee is ever offered to us we disclose it to you in writing before you decide anything.
Are you a law firm or an accounting firm?
Neither, deliberately. We are business consultants. We advise on structure and strategy, coordinate registration, run searches and verification, produce content and websites, and project-manage the licensed professionals — Chinese lawyers, licensed accounting firms, CNIPA-registered trademark agencies, customs brokers — where the law requires one.
How do you charge, and how do I pay?
Fixed fees, scoped and agreed in writing before work starts, with our prices published on the pricing page. Fixed-price items cost exactly what is shown; items marked “from” depend on scope, and you get a fixed quote in writing before anything begins. Payment is by PayPal or international bank transfer to an account in our registered company name. Official and third-party fees are passed through at cost and shown separately. Our bank details never change by email.
What currency do you invoice in?
US dollars. If you prefer to settle in RMB, we convert at the RMB central parity rate published by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System under the authority of the People’s Bank of China on the invoice date.
Do you handle visas, work permits or immigration?
No. We do not provide, and will not accept instructions for, any service relating to visas, residence permits, work permits, stay permits, immigration, emigration, study abroad or overseas employment — for China or for any other country. That includes paid consultation on those topics.
Not sure which engagement fits?
Book a 45-minute consult. We map your situation to the right process, tell you honestly what is and is not possible, and give you a fixed fee. No obligation.
