Most of this site tells you not to trust a Chinese company until you have looked it up on the state registry. It would be incoherent to ask you to make an exception for us. Here is everything you need to run that check, and what you should find.

How to run the check
- Open the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System —
gsxt.gov.cn. It is operated by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation. - Paste the Unified Social Credit Code above into the search box. Searching the English name will not work; the registry holds Chinese names and codes.
- Check the registration status reads 存续 or 在业 — existing, in operation.
- Check the registered address matches the one above, and that the business scope (经营范围) covers consulting, translation, supply-chain management and business agency services.
- Check the abnormal-operations list (经营异常名录) is empty.

What our registration lets us do
A Chinese business licence carries a registered scope, and a company may only operate within it. Ours covers business and management consulting, market research and marketing planning, translation, supply-chain management, business agency services, professional design, digital content and video production, software development and IT consulting.
It does not cover bookkeeping and tax agency, trademark filing, recruitment or labour dispatch, legal practice, immigration or exit–entry intermediary services, or the import and export of goods. We do not hold those licences and we do not do that work — we say so, and introduce someone who does. The full list is on what we don’t do.
Who you will be dealing with
Anna Zheng, Founder. Anna Zheng founded Yimi. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from China and a Juris Doctor from Australia, and is an Australian legal practitioner whose practice has centred on cross-border commercial contracts and dispute resolution for international clients across technology, manufacturing and trade.
Yimi is a business consultancy, not a law firm. Anna does not act as your lawyer, and nothing we produce is legal advice. Her legal training is why our reports are careful about evidence and wording — it is not a service we sell.

How money moves
Invoices are issued by 温州易米信息咨询有限公司 (Wenzhou Yimi Information Consulting Co., Ltd.). Payment is by PayPal or international bank transfer, always to an account in that registered company name.
- We never ask you to pay a personal account. Not ours, not anyone’s.
- We never ask you to pay a third party on our behalf.
- Our bank details never change by email. Ever, for any reason.
Our bank details never change by email. If you ever receive a message that appears to be from us asking you to pay a different account, it is not from us — call or WeChat us before sending anything. If you ever receive something purporting to come from us that does not match the above, it did not come from us. Tell us.
