Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, store and transfer your personal information — and what you can require us to do about it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Wenzhou Yimi Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (温州易米信息咨询有限公司), a company registered in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China (Unified Social Credit Code 91330302MAKLC8FT2R) (“we”, “us”).
Registered office: Room 601-C01, Huameng Business Plaza, No. 2 Chezhan Avenue, Nanhui Subdistrict, Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China
Responsible for personal information protection: Wenzhou Yimi Information Consulting Co., Ltd. — the company itself.
We are far below the processing volume at which the Cyberspace Administration of China requires a separately
designated officer to be named and published, so there is no individual to name here. Requests reach the
company and are answered by it.

2. What we collect
| Source | Data | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry form | Name, email, company, country, message | To answer your enquiry |
| Placing an order on this site | Name, email, company, the country you order from, and the supplier details you ask us to check. Plus the two consents you tick, recorded with the order. | To perform the contract, and to evidence that you agreed to it |
| Paying for an order | Handled entirely by PayPal — we receive the amount, the PayPal transaction reference and confirmation that it succeeded. We never see your card or account details. | To take the fee |
| Booking a consultation | Name, email, time zone, and the answers to any questions on the booking form | To schedule and hold the meeting |
| Paying for a consultation | Handled entirely by PayPal — we receive confirmation that payment succeeded and never see your card or account details | To take the consultation fee |
| Email correspondence | Whatever you send us | To provide the service |
| Becoming a client | Contact details of your staff, company information | To perform the contract |
| Website use | No analytics tool is currently installed. If one is added, this row becomes aggregated page views, referrer, approximate region and device type — no advertising cookies. | To understand which content is useful |
What we deliberately do not collect
We do not collect passport or identity-document images, criminal-record certificates, biometric data, health data, or financial-account details. If you send us any of these, we will ask you not to and delete them.
This is a deliberate design choice: we do not provide visa, immigration or exit-entry services, so we have no business reason to hold sensitive personal information.
3. Legal basis
Under the PRC Personal Information Protection Law we rely on your consent (enquiries, marketing) and on necessity for concluding or performing a contract to which you are a party (client work). Where the law of your own country also applies to us, we handle your information in line with it — including, for visitors in the EEA or UK, consent or legitimate interests.
4. Who sees it
- Our own team in China.
- Service providers we use to run the business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job: Microsoft (email and file storage), Web3Forms (delivers the enquiry form to our inbox), Cal.com (consultation scheduling), PayPal (payment for consultations and orders), Cloudflare (hosting, and the store holding order records), and Resend (order confirmation emails).
- Licensed professionals we introduce you to — only with your prior consent, and only the information needed.
We never sell your personal information.
5. Sending information outside China
Most of the service providers above operate outside China, so sending the enquiry form, booking a consultation, and placing or paying for an order each involve a transfer of your personal information abroad. Our business email and file storage run on Microsoft 365, which is also operated from outside mainland China, so correspondence you send us is held there too. We tell you this plainly rather than implying a purely domestic footprint we do not have.
| Overseas recipients | Web3Forms (enquiry-form delivery). Cal.com, Inc. (United States) — scheduling. PayPal (United States and its regional entities) — payment. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosting and the order-record store. Resend (United States) — order confirmation email. |
|---|---|
| Purpose | To deliver your enquiry to us, to let you choose an appointment time, to take payment, and to record and confirm an order |
| Categories | Web3Forms: what you type into the enquiry form. Cal.com: name, email, time zone, and anything you type into the booking form. PayPal: the payment amount and whatever PayPal itself collects to process it — we never receive or store your card or account details. Cloudflare: the order record, being your name, email, company, country, the supplier details you gave us, and your consents. Resend: your email address and the confirmation itself. |
| Method | Directly from your browser to the provider at the point you act — send the form, open the booking panel, or place an order. Nothing loads and nothing is sent before that. |
| Safeguards | Each is an established provider with its own published privacy terms and security programme. We take back into our own systems only what we need to answer you, hold the appointment, or deliver the order. |
| How to avoid it entirely | Don’t use the enquiry form, the booking panel or the order page. Message us on WeChat instead and we will take the instruction, arrange a time and take payment another way. |
Your consent is separate and specific. Nothing reaches Cal.com or PayPal unless you actively click to open the booking panel or place an order. If you would rather not have your information leave China at all, email us at info@yimichina.com or message us on WeChat — we will take the instruction and payment another way. You lose nothing but the convenience of self-service.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become projects | 12 months |
| Client records | 3 years after the engagement ends |
| Contracts, invoices, payment records | 10 years (PRC accounting rules) |
| Online order records | At least 3 years from the transaction (PRC e-commerce rules), then handled as a payment record above |
| Unpaid orders you started but did not complete | 24 hours, then deleted automatically |
| Consent records and impact assessments | 3 years |
7. Your rights
You may access, copy, correct, supplement and delete your personal information, withdraw consent, ask for an explanation of our handling rules, or transfer your information to another handler. Contact privacy@yimichina.com — we respond within 10 working days.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the competent authority in your jurisdiction.
8. Security
Encrypted cloud storage, two-factor authentication on all business accounts, least-privilege access, a written internal policy, and scheduled deletion. If a breach occurs that may harm you, we will notify you and the relevant authority.
9. Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies (if any) are set. If an analytics tool is added later, this section will be replaced with a cookie table and a consent banner that defaults to rejecting non-essential cookies.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14.
11. Changes
We will post any change here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes affecting your rights will be notified directly where we have your contact details.
