You want to sell into China without making it irreversible.
The expensive mistake here is registering a company because it feels like the serious thing to do, then finding it costs more to keep compliant than the market returns for two or three years — and takes most of a year to close. The second expensive mistake is talking to a distributor before your trademark is filed.
This page is for you if…
- You are considering the Chinese market and do not yet know which structure fits.
- A Chinese distributor or platform has approached you and you cannot assess them.
- You want to test demand through cross-border e-commerce before committing capital.
- Your brand is not registered in China — or you have just discovered someone else registered it.
- You have an entity in China that has gone quiet and you do not know what it owes.
If two or more of those are true, the section below is written about your situation specifically. If none are, try the other three.
The problems, and what we do about each
“Do I even need a Chinese company?”
Often not. We test the actual triggers — RMB invoicing, local inventory, direct hiring, licensing — and write a recommendation you can act on, including when the answer is to wait.
Market Entry & Structure Advisory · from US$900“A distributor approached us. Are they real, and are they any good?”
Registry verification, category activity, reference checks, and introduction meetings you attend with us interpreting.
Partner, Distributor & Agent Search · from US$2,400“The platform now wants an overseas entity, a trademark, factory video and proof we really operate.”
One deliverable containing all four: notarised and apostilled documents, certified translation, trademark class strategy, and production footage.
China E-Commerce Readiness Pack · from US$1,200“Our distributor registered our trademark.”
China is first-to-file. We do class and subclass strategy, read the clearance search and coordinate a CNIPA-registered agency — and the right time is before the first conversation, not after.
Trademark Strategy & Filing Coordination · from US$180“Our Chinese entity has been dormant for three years.”
An independent check of the annual reports, abnormal-operation listings and registry records — then either a fix plan or a properly managed deregistration.
Annual Compliance Check & Company Exit · from US$350A sensible order to do this in
You can take any one of these and stop. But this is the sequence that wastes the least money.

No email required, sources named, dates on everything. If these solve your problem you do not need to hire us, and we would rather you knew that.
Questions we get from this group
Can you register the company for us?
We coordinate the registration, prepare the documents and manage the authorities and the bank. Bookkeeping, tax filing and audit are carried out by a licensed accounting firm that contracts with you directly — we help you select one and manage the timetable.
Can you file our trademark?
We handle class and subclass strategy, read the clearance search and judge the risk. The filing itself is made by a trademark agency registered with CNIPA. We are not a trademark agency and never file in our own name.
Will you tell us not to enter?
If that is what the analysis says, yes. A written recommendation you can act on includes the recommendation to wait, and we would rather write that than take a setup fee for an entity you will be closing in three years.
Not quite you?
