What we do
Supplier search & vetting
We find candidates, then check business licences, capabilities and track record — so you’re not wiring a deposit to a trading company pretending to be a factory.
Factory visits & audits
We go in person on your behalf, photograph and report on the real operation, and can run a structured audit before you commit.
Interpreting — on-site & remote
Every meeting, factory walk-through and video call, in fluent English and Mandarin. Nothing lost, nothing glossed over.
Samples & quality checks
We collect, consolidate and forward samples, and arrange pre-shipment inspection so what ships matches what you approved.
Negotiation support
Price, MOQ, lead time, payment terms and tooling — we help you negotiate on equal footing, with the cultural context.
Specs & contract translation
Technical specifications, quotations and purchase agreements translated accurately in both directions.
How we charge
Market-rate and transparent — you pick the model that fits your project. Official third-party costs (inspection labs, courier, tooling) are passed through at cost.
| Service | Typical basis |
|---|---|
| Interpreting & factory visits | Day rate, from US$150/day (plus travel for out-of-city visits) |
| Sourcing a product / supplier | Fixed fee per product, or commission on order value (commonly 5–10%) |
| Pre-shipment quality inspection | Per inspection day; lab tests billed at cost |
| Document / spec translation | Per 1,000 words |
How it works
- Brief. Tell us the product, target price, quantity and quality bar. We confirm what’s realistic.
- Shortlist. We search, vet and come back with a shortlist of genuine suppliers — often within days.
- Verify. Video calls or on-site visits, interpreted, plus samples where needed.
- Negotiate & order. We support terms, translate the agreement, and help you place the order with sensible payment protection.
- Inspect & ship. Pre-shipment inspection, then hand-off to your freight forwarder.
We work for you, not the factory. Our fee comes from you, so we have no reason to steer you to whoever pays the biggest commission. We don’t take secret kickbacks from suppliers, and we’ll tell you when a “great price” is a red flag.
An honest scope note
We are a service provider, not a trading company. We never take title to goods, never hold your payment for goods, and never act as the seller. You contract with the supplier and pay the supplier directly; our fee is for our work and is invoiced separately.
We facilitate, verify and interpret. We do not buy your goods and resell them to you at a markup — we hold no import or export rights and take no ownership of anything in the container. If you want a Chinese trading entity to buy and resell to you, that is a different structure involving foreign-trade filing, customs and export-VAT handling, and we can explain the path and introduce a licensed trading company, but we will not be it. We also cannot guarantee against every commercial risk: what we do is remove the language and distance barrier and put rigorous checks in place so you decide with real information.
